KL TOWER INTERNATIONAL JUMP MALAYSIA (KLTIJM)

The prestigious and internationally-acclaimed extreme sports event, KL TOWER INTERNATIONAL JUMP MALAYSIA (KLTIJM), was initially organized in conjunction with KL Tower’s 3rd anniversary celebration on the 3rd October 1999. Since then, it has become an annual event for KL Tower and has been listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the 1st BASE jump event in Malaysia, highest BASE jump platform, first rope BASE jump and most number of participants in a BASE jump.

BASE is the acronym for (B)uilding, (A)ntenna, (S)pan and (E)arth, representing objects, which are mainly used as the BASE jump jump-off point.

This annual event is held with the aim of offering BASE jump enthusiasts with the opportunity to jump-off KL Tower. At the same time, this activity will put Malaysia on international tourism maps as a destination for sport tourism activities. The event is in line with KL Tower aspiration as a must visit destination for Culture, Adventure and Nature experiences.

KL Tower also will offer a special package during the event, which is ‘Sitting On The Edge'. Visitors will get to see, up close the jumpers in actions at the jump point either day or night time. Visitors can capture the memorable moments under their feet and enjoy the scenic view of the Kuala Lumpur city at the height of 300 meters above the ground level.
