CELEBRATES 11TH BIRTHDAY WITH DAFI
Kuala Lumpur – This year, Menara Kuala Lumpur celebrated its 11th anniversary, marking it with celebrations with ‘TOWER KIDZ’ Birthday celebration, for children sharing the same birth date – 1 October 1996
The ‘TOWER KIDZ’ Birthday Celebration is a privilege given to children who shares the same birthday with Menara Kuala Lumpur since its launching 11 years ago. Since then the adopted children of the tower has been invited to be part of the celebration and has been given a lifetime privilege of visiting the Observation Deck, free-of-charge.
“Menara Kuala Lumpur is delighted to welcome the children again this year for their birthday. It is heart-warming to see these kids has grow up with Menara Kuala Lumpur, and we hope to share more birthdays, and also more success with them to many years to come” said Dato’ Zulkifli Mohamad, CEO of Menara Kuala Lumpur.
The children, from various ethnics and religions must be thrilled to commemorate their anniversary every year with Southeast Asia’s highest tower. This year’s celebration was also extra special, as the children were given an educational trip to Muzium Telekom and Petrosains. In the meantime, Menara Kuala Lumpur is also a learning centre for these children in enhancing their knowledge on telecommunication technology.
In addition, the children will be entertained by a popular teenage local singer i.e Gadaffi Ismail Sabri or ‘Dafi’ of AF5, who celebrates his birthday on 15th December, wooed the Tower Kidz birthday celebration with his debut songs titled ‘Bila Terasa Rindu’ and the other famous songs.
Menara Kuala Lumpur the tallest tower in Southeast Asia, standing at 421 metres in the middle of Kuala Lumpur and surrounded by lush greenery of forestry reserve on top of Bukit Nanas.
