A JOINT EFFORT BETWEEN RISDA & MENARA KUALA LUMPUR
TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS

 

Menara Kuala LumpurIn the effort to introduce and promote agro-tourism products, Menara Kuala Lumpur is capitalising on its position as South East Asia’s highest tower to organise the first exhibition of RISDA products at its Tower Terrace for a week beginning 23rd December until 29th December 2007.

 

The main objective of this promotion is to introduce and showcase the pure product from Malaysia rural area to the International and local visitor.  This event will provide the spark for the promotion and development of the growth of agro-tourism, a sector in which Menara Kuala Lumpur found to be avant-garde and indirectly to use the finest national ambassador as a platform to open up the opportunity to growth global.

 

“Menara Kuala Lumpur is an ideal location to promote these agro-tourism products as it receives hundreds of visitor everyday which helps in distributing and educating the mass on the benefits of the products. In addition, it will gives visitors a unique experience and information of these products, which can only be gained during the exhibition” said Dato’ Zulkifli Mohamad, CEO of Menara Kuala Lumpur.

 

“This event will also open up the opportunity to the small and medium entrepreneurs focusing on agriculture products to introduce and promote their products, particularly to foreign visitors.” he added.

 

Promotions and exhibitions of RISDA products such as handicrafts and cooking demonstration, frame and flower decorations using rubber leaves contest and also wedding decorations will be held during the program. All states in Peninsula Malaysia are expected to be involved in this event, where they will take the opportunity to introduce and promote their home-made products.
