WEDDING MADE IN THE SKY

 

Nine couples exchanged matrimonial vows 300 metres above sea level during a special event known as ‘Wedding made in the Sky’ held in conjunction with Valentine’s Day on 14 February 2008 at Menara Kuala Lumpur, the 4th tallest telecommunication tower in the world. This memorable event was organized by Menara Kuala Lumpur with the support of the National Registration Department.

 

Wedding dinners at the Mega View Banquet organized by Menara Kuala Lumpur have always received overwhelming response since it was introduced in mid 2006. The venue has become a preferred choice for banquets amongst local couples and has been fully booked on most weekends.

 

Encouraged by the success of this event, a similar event known as  ‘Pledge Your Vows In The Sky’ will be introduced to allow couples to have the incomparable experience of exchanging their matrimonial vows on the Open Deck, which stands 300 metres above ground level. 

 

With the support and endorsement from the National Registration Department and strategic partnership with travel agents, Menara Kuala Lumpur will become a unique wedding tourism venue for the country especially in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year.
