Sebutir Nasi Sejuta Keinsafan

 

 

7 & 8 June 2008 - Datuk Aziz Sattar Production in collaboration with Menara Kuala Lumpur organized the “Sebutir Nasi Sejuta Keinsafan” charity programme in aid of Cyclon Nargis victims at Menara Kuala Lumpur. Celebrities from Malaysia and Singapore such as Ifa Radziah, Rozita Che Wan, Kuni, Hijjaz Group, Adi Putra, Datuk Tarmimi Siregar, Sarimah Ibrahim as well as veteran celebrities including S. Shamsudin, Wahid Satay, Mariani, Rashidah Jaafar were present. Highlight of the event included an auction which saw Malay Media Sdn.Bhd buying Char Kueh Teow worth RM1,000 cooked by Datuk Astaman Aziz, Chairman of Titiwangsa Foundation. Also auctioned were garments which belonged to the celebrities. The amount collected during this charity program was RM5,000 and the donation will be sent to the Ministry of Information for distribution to disaster victims.
