Islamic Heritage

The main Dome at the Lobby Entrance and Exits of the Upper Ground Floor is clad in glass. It resembles the inner surface of a huge diamond, with sparkling multispheres arranged in the traditional Islamic 'Muqarnas' form. This Esfahan design forms largerbrusque patterns at the bottom to symbolise the 7 layers of the sky.

The design gradually refines itself towards the apex, which represents the rays of the sun. This process reflects the journey in human life where the quest for perfection is the ultimate destination.

The planning, installation and decoration of the Muqarnas was swiftly carried out by the highly skilled Iranian craftsmen using traditional methods inherited from generations of master crafters.
